Hardwood Construction- A super well-built antique flat top and is very solidly constructed. Not a big guesser on wood types but the wood here generally reminds me of solid aged birch or maple with a slightly softer tone rather than the more commonly found pine. All hardware is original including the Heavy cast latches and Yale and Towne lock. On the very top is a very nice brass makers tag. It is simply a well-made, heavy weight trunk.
